Strategic Warfare!

Hey, can I share something with you all real quick regarding stratetgic warfare?
Lately I’ve been noticing how, every time there’s talk of war, the headlines focus on bombs, tanks, missiles—the usual images. But when I really pay attention, it’s obvious that wars today aren’t just fought with weapons you can see. They’re fought through money, systems, and structures that most people never really think about.
Sanctions, trade, energy, supply chains, banking… all of that.
It’s like nations don’t just aim at soldiers anymore; they aim at the “economy” that keeps a nation breathing.
You weaken a country’s economy, you quietly cripple its ability to function.
Hit their infrastructure, their ability to produce, trade, and finance… and you can bring a nation to its knees without ever stepping on their soil. That’s wild when you really sit with it.
And here’s where it gets to me: as the ekklesia, I don’t think we can afford to ignore this “mountain” of business and economy. We talk a lot about prayer (which is essential), about morality, about culture—but the economic side often gets pushed to the background, like it’s “less spiritual.”
But it’s not less spiritual.
Money flows, investments, industries, policies—these things are shaping real lives, real outcomes, and even the direction of nations.
I honestly feel like we, as the Body of Christ, need to embrace our roles here.
Not just praying about what’s happening in the world, but understanding how it’s being funded, structured, and weaponized economically—and then asking God how we’re supposed to stand, speak, and move on this mountain.
Just something I’ve been thinking about:
If wars are being fought with economies… what does it look like for the ekklesia to show up there with wisdom, integrity, and Kingdom influence?
Anyway, I wanted to share that with you. It’s been stirring in me. I believe God is sending an alert to the body to pay close attention to this in this hour as we are seeing it currently play out globally.
